Beginning her cooking career, by accident, over 30 years ago in Bermagui, a small fishing village on the south coast of NSW, Georgina set up and ran Le Marlin Café and Le Wharf Café, both icons in the town.

For twelve years she extended her skills, cooking privately in a Tuscan style villa, feeding distinguished guests, many from overseas, catering for receptions, weddings  and a stream of other functions. During this time she travelled extensively and spent much time in northern Tuscany, where she now conducts her small group tours.

She then set up her own ‘Cucina’, a private dining room and commercial kitchen overlooking the oyster farms at Wapengo Lake. Here she fed many a happy visitor and also established her cooking school.

She is a great exponent of using fresh local produce wherever she cooks and maintains a keen interest in ‘everything food’, particularly current food issues in society and food literature.
